Taxation is one of the topics that raises the most questions among Belgians living abroad. Tax returns, non-resident status, obligations in Belgium, international tax treaties… the situations are often complex and change regularly.
In order to address these concerns as effectively as possible, the UFBE is updating its information service. The tax service is back, but in a new format, with a greater focus on group information sessions and discussions with specialists.
Starting this autumn 2026, we will be organising a series of webinars focusing on the main tax issues faced by Belgian expatriates.
The theme of the first meeting will be:
“Who needs to complete an INR declaration and why?”
During this presentation, we will review the principles of non-resident tax (INR), the people it applies to, the most common scenarios and the mistakes to avoid. Time will also be set aside for questions from participants.
A second webinar has already been scheduled. The topic will be announced in the coming weeks.
