Our BMBC committee met on February 21, 2025 and defined some main lines concerning the events.
For this year 2025 :
First of all, our new commission at the start of 2025 is as follows :

Events that took place in 2025: Activities of our business club :
- BMBC was a partner of the CCIFM in the 06 Feb 2025: Conference Debate: "Change of government in Mauritius:
Quel est l'impact sur l'investissement direct étranger et quels sont les moteurs de la croissance ?
- The BMBC was invited along with other Chambers of Commerce to a Business Lunch at the MCCI, Port Louis, on February 17.
Objective: work together to gather information from our business members in preparation for the next Budget 25-26.
- A reminder of an important event that took place last year in Brussels.
The BMBC acted as facilitator between CBL-ACP and EDB to prepare the signing of this MOU last May.
As we enter 2025, a new board has been installed at EDB and CBL-ACP, and we continue to work together.
to introduce Mauritius to potential Belgian investors, and vice versa.

The only federal chamber in Belgium.
- BMBC is currently working hand-in-hand with MCCI to facilitate the signing of an MOU with CBL-ACP in Brussels.
- BMBC has also signed a partnership agreement with CEOI - Le CARREFOUR DES ENTREPRENEURS DE L'OCEAN INDIEN, with its President and founder Mr Xavier Desplanques.
Events already scheduled:
- Mardi 04 Mars : le Président du BMBC sera présent à la MCCI Headquarters pour un webinaire exclusif présentant ICC One Click - une boîte à outils tout-en-un conçue pour révolutionner la façon dont les entreprises exportent et se développent à l'échelle mondiale.
- Thursday, March 06: 7pm: a Wine Tasting special (wine tasting... surprise destination!) - Presentation by Guillaume, our oenologist
From 20/VIN Rivière Noire. Our speaker of the day will talk about... Artificial Intelligence, "What impact on our lives, personal and professional"?
- Thursday March 20: CINE CLUB, Elvis Night (1 show + 1 movie).
- Thursday October 16: EU Entrepreneurs' Meeting. Location and format to be defined with CCIFM and associates...
- Saturday 15 November: BE King's Day: Venue to be confirmed.
The committee has identified a number of ideas for future events, and we are of course counting on suggestions from our members.
